Also, please don’t forget about the people who aren’t able to do something extra for their kids this Christmas. Toys for Tots is a great organization or donate to a charity of your choice. Just do something for someone else. This is a tough economy and is hitting everyone this year. I don’t know anyone who hasn’t been effected one way or another. Fortunately, most of us are still able to afford to have a nice Christmas with our families, even if we do have to scale back a bit this season. Many families can’t afford even the basics and a little something for the kids to find under the tree this year would mean the world to those families. http://www.toysfortots.org/

Whether you donate money, toys, canned goods or just your time to a local church or shelter that provides a holiday meal, do the right thing and help someone.

Okay, I’m getting off my soapbox, I’ve been on it a lot this year. It just seems to me that with all of the luxuries that we have: cell phones, internet, cable, dinners out, etc. we can afford to help out those who don’t.
