Wanted,

I don't go to the movies very often, but I figured yesterday was my birthday, and I'm out on the road, it would be something fun to do. I took the advice of a couple friends, and went to go see WANTED, with Angelina Jolie, they said it was fantastic, and had ground breaking special effects.  So I went in with my illegal snacks, and an ICEE, It was a good start so far…

My friends were correct the special effects were very good, and the action was very good. The curving bullets were pretty kick ass. The group of assassins was bad ass. So with all these kick ass curving bullet super jumping powers why in the hell couldn't "Fox" (Angelina Jolie) out run a delivery van in a 600HP Dodge Viper???  You hear the 8 liter 10 cylinder engine at it's redline shifting through the gears, and meanwhile the delivery van has to smash through cars and amazingly it's right on the Vipers ass! Now I know the guy chasing them in the delivery van is also a super assassin, but I don't care how many assassin super skills you have, you can't make a 6,500 lb van with a Cummins 5.9L diesel keep up with a Viper! I'm not a super assassin, I'm just a mediocre driver but I could outrun one of those delivery vans with my 350,000 mile Nissan Sentra.

That little fact aside, the movie was ok, until the last bit of dialogue at the end of the movie that basically called everyone in the audience complacent do nothings. That was it for me, I've never been talked trash to by a movie I paid to see. To answer the final question from the movie "What have you done today?" I spent it watching your dumbass movie, now give me my money back.

I called my friend who said the movie was good and explained why I hated it, and he said "Well it was all the way at the end of the movie, it was great up till then." Yeah, but that's like getting a nice long kiss, and then having them punch you in the face, sure the kiss was nice, but your face hurts like hell.
