The magic of November

I can't wait till this coming November. The world is going to be a different place. Of course I'm talking about the pending election of the President of the United States.  In one day we could change the course of our lives forever. Well that is what I'm getting from the media, if we are smart enough to elect Barack Obama.  Such praise has been heaped on this man you would think he was born in Bethlehem, and this is his second visit to earth.

I hope they are correct, and he can do everything he says he can. If so by 2009:

Gas prices will fall. (Even with the 50 cent per gallon tax he's in favor of)

Oil companies will willingly pay the windfall profits tax without passing on the cost to the consumer.

Alternative fuels previously not cost effective will become so.

Health care will be free for all Americans, unless you make over $90,000 a year in which case you have to pay for everyone who doesn't.

There will be no war in Iraq, because we will pull out all troops and the insurgents will just leave the new Iraqi government alone.

Every country in the world will love us, and there will be no need to use the military. Until we go into Darfur in the middle of a civil war (Which is one reason we were told to pull out of Iraq)

Global warming will cease to exist, and the oceans will return to normal.

We will be able to visit all 58 states that he has visited, with our newly renovated infrastructure.

Higher taxes will lead to prosperity.

Becoming rich will be deemed bad, do your part and stay middle class so the government can help you.

Government will finally learn how to spend money wisely, and all programs that have failed in the past and wasted money will miraculously become efficient.

The school system will ask for more money, and at the same time get better for the first time in 40 years.

Hollywood will actually be able to shut their mouths about politics, and make an original movie.

So please do your part and vote for him blindly because the media has told you so, and for goodness sake don't question anything he says, because he is for change, and that is all that matters.
