We love OCMD and especially the food and drink. There are a plethora of great places to go but these are a few of our favs. Harborside in West Ocean city is this dive bar with a specialty drink known as the Orange Crush, often imitated never duplicated, and I guarantee that is the truth. We have tried. These are wonderful simple concoctions that just taste better sitting at the Harborside, eating peel-n-eat shrimp (theirs are the best) oysters, tuna, God, I am getting hungry and thirsty just thinking about it all. This is a must.
Tutti gusti if a very tasty Italian place about 34th and Coastal Hwy. A little pricey but well worth it. Very good food and service, good wine list and relaxed meal. We go every year.
Of course, you have to go to Seacrets, it is a must but if you old like us go during the day when there are a lot less people. Sit out on a raft and have a cocktail, try the tuna sandwich, have one of their many specialty drinks and leave before the young drunks show up.
For sunset there is only one place and that is Fager's Island. They play Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture timed perfectly for the sun to pop below the horizon. Get a magnum of Champagne and relax. Perfect beginning to an evening they also have terrific food.
For later in the eve we always go to Mackey's. Great drinks, best bartenders and relaxed atmosphere. Hope to see you there!!
