If you are ever in Wichita and are in the mood for BBQ this is the place to stop. Delicious! You know how sometimes brisket or ribs or any meat can be a little dried out and tough? Not here. Everthing I had was moist, tender and most of all delectable. Great great BBQ and the beans are perfect as well. Did not get a chance to try the sides, potato salad and cole slaw because I was pigging out on the pig and beans but might try next time. Though hard to get by the pork. Try it and you will thank me and put me in your will. charlie PS 2012 Got to try the sides and they are as good as the pig though that be high praise indeed. Passing through and stopped at this place for some BBQ because of the rating. We wern't disappointed. The ribs didn't even need sause they were so good. If you order a side GET THE BAKED BEANS!!! I was not disappointed.The restaurant is located in a borderline iffy neighborhood near a lot of industry in Wichita's northside of downtown area. It's a on a semi major street, a few blocks from Interstate I-135. The dining room is large, it looked like they took over the adjacent storefront too. The place was very popular. They work odd hours and close for dinner early, like at 8 PM. So be prepared to eat early and you may want to call ahead and see if they're open.I had a four meat combo plate. The ribs were fantastic, the pulled pork and tri-tip were excellent. The links were pretty good. I can't remember what the side items I had were, because they were overshadowed by the meat. But they served it with soft whote bread.I will definitely be back again. The next time I am in Wichita for work. This is in the Top 10 BBQ restaurants I have ever eaten. When I speak of BBQ, I am talking primarily about brisket, pork shoulder, ribs and links that are moist, tender, bursting with flavor that can only be achieved by an expert pit master who has taken the time to cook the meat at low temperatures for long periods of time, this too is the description given by all the BBQ societies that host competitions. In other words a crock pot with a chunk of meat in it along with some lame sauce off the grocery store shelf cooked for 10 hours is NOT BBQ. With this said, whenever I travel anywhere I look for BBQ that fit's the description I gave above of what I believe BBQ is. In my business travels, as well as, personal travels I have eaten BBQ from the west coast to the east coast from north of the United States border to as far south as Houston and literally hundreds of places in between trying to find the best BBQ on the North American Continent. Several times in the past I have had someone say that they found the best BBQ place ever, because of my passion for BBQ I have made special trips just to find out how good it really is. Consequently, I have eaten some BBQ that was not fit to feed animals. Also, I have eaten some BBQ that I thought was good and if traveling back to those parts of the country I would stop by and enjoy a meal. However, when it comes to having eaten the best BBQ ever Pig In! Pig Out! Is unequivocally the best in the industry. One might ask me how could I be so sure that they are the best? My answer is go by check it out for yourself and don't mind the full parking lot and a line coming out the door because not only does Pig In! Pig Out! Have the best BBQ in the country their customer service is top notch also!
