8/25/2010 Located in beautiful Park Slope Brooklyn, Get Fresh Table and Market is one of the best brunch experiences I have ever had. We were recommended by friends who we were house sitting for in Brooklyn.
The menu is completely organic, fair trade, grass fed, all that stuff.
The decor is clean, vintage, and comfortable. The service, warm, friendly, laid back, but still on point. We went in at around 11am for brunch and ordered coffee while we looked over the menu. I ordered an egg sandwich, my staple for brunch anywhere. My girlfriend ordered the pancakes. We also got a "fruit board" to share for starter. The fruit board is great, it's only what is in season. We got cantaloupe, strawberries, blueberries, and peaches. The fruit tasted like it came off a farm stand, so fresh and delicious. My egg sandwich was prepared perfectly over medium with farmstead cheddar and greens. The Buttermilk Pancakes came with organic maple syrup, and more of those amazing peaches. The whole brunch was just incredible and I left wanting to try more. We did of course, the next day for lunch which was just as good. I wanted to come for dinner but I guess it will have to wait until our next trip back. Get Fresh is organic food prepared with love, highly recommend if you're in Brooklyn.

7/13/2010 My girlfriend and I stumbled upon this place while searching for a good breakfast spot near my friends apartment. I don't know about the dinner menu, but the brunch menu is amazing. I still daydream about the truffled eggs, the polenta, and the pancakes. They're like none I have ever had, almost like a biscuit dough, in a good way. The pressed coffee, also amazing. Glad to see they carried our hometown coffee (Intelligentsia).
As a design student I really enjoyed the interior of the place as well, light and airy. The "market", which is a large open cupboard along one wall, is filled with a lot of great stuff too and adds a lot of character to the space.
I will return.

8/15/2010 Sheer luck brought me here for brunch today and I was really pleasantly surprised. The grass fed waygu steak and eggs ($15) was delicious, just slightly cooked past the medium that I requested. The coffee and fresh apple juice was perfect. The cheese polenta ($3) was really great and worth going back. The greens and truffled eggs were sensational and so flavorful. The mole and tamales was good but tasted a lot like Worcestershire sauce which I don't like. Overall we had great service, a great meal and all for a very reasonable $26 per person, that includes tax and tip. Would go back in a heartbeat.
