My wife and I were there last week and the food was fabulous. The service was friendly and accommodating. The hanger steak was incredible and the ribeye was great. I'd recommend North Peak to anyone who hasn't been there yet.

I go to North Peak on a regular basis as it is near my workplace. In all the times I've been there, which are countless, I've received one bad plate which they corrected and comped. I've never received poor service there in fact, this is one of the places that despite the size of the party or types of orders we make, I've always been accommodated by very friendly and unsnobby service. Additionally, I've never known anyone to have a bad experience there, regular or out-of-towner. Themajority of the time, there is a manager present ensuring the service and food are acceptable. North Peak takes pride in their establishment, food and service and is anything BUT Corporate which is clearly illustrated by their menu. It's patio is great in the summer, although could be larger. Go here. It's awesome!

Great for the money we had the pizza and beer special I'm not a big beer person but. Wow the pizza is tasty and service was pretty good for being as busy as they were . Check this place out if u haven't yet

I understand that its just not a bunch of "foodies" and food crtics that get on urbanspoon... its about community and passerby reviews. But I just can't stomach reviews that tell you about how good the food is but the service was absolutely terrible. It's going to happen more often than not when you get a server that just doesn't "click" with you for one reason or another... the bottom line is the food... thats why most people go to restaurants right? I got back online tonight and noticed a few reviews of North Peak... one said the food was allright but had a "cooperate" feel..... WHAT?? A lot of Traverse City is made up of cooperate places and restaurants...North Peak is not one of them... I get nothing coorperate from the building to the unique menu, and then there is just the simple fact that.....they aren't coorperate? My other complain is the review from the dude that came back on a gift certificate...said it was loud and noisy the first time..... sounds exactly like like an open area bar/brewery/restaurant should sound doesn't it?? that means there are lots of PAYING customers which means they are doing something right.... right? It was also claimed that the server was ok and the food was "good" the second time but wont come back anyways? And by the way, if you care about food...a seat close to the kitchen is not always a bad thing in a place that does food right.... you might learn something. |
